A useful starting point
A project-start workflow can prepare a folder and an access checklist. The useful output is a correctly scoped workspace, not a public link to everything your team knows. Separate client-visible deliverables from internal notes and commercial discussions.
A worked example
For a sample design project, create a deliverables folder for the client and a separate internal working area. Record the approved client email, access level, project owner and review date. Have the coordinator open the proposed share list before invitations are sent.
Implementation and review
Drive supports different access roles, but inherited folder access still needs checking. Test access using an appropriate authorized test account. Confirm the client can see the deliverable and cannot see another project. Keep the source folder ID in the workflow so similarly named projects cannot be confused.
Drive supports viewer, commenter and editor access. Confirm account and folder settings. Google: file sharing controls
Measure the improvement
Measure setup and access-support time, including the final permission check. Compare the improvement with configuration and maintenance costs. If you start very few projects, a saved checklist may be enough. Broader automation earns its place when it reduces repeated setup reliably.
